Nokia 8210 [06 Jul 2009|12:46am] Happy 10th Anniversary 8210 !!! YES, it had been 10 years. This is one of my all time fave phone, with Xpress Cover which I can buy at the local pasar malam. I remembered pimping it with blue lights and translucent cover, totally bengish. Its also my fave clubbing phone, small and compact. Ion Louis [03 Jul 2009|06:06pm] Louis Vuitton has launched its biggest store in Southeast Asia, at the glitzy new ION Orchard. The two-level, 905 square metre store boasts of separate sections for men and women. Alongside regular Louis Vuitton bags, apparel, accessories and shoes, the store also carries a full range of exclusive products bearing the label Louis Vuitton Orchard Road Singapore limited edition bags - to commemorate the store's opening. The architecture, designed by Front Inc of New York, and interior design are stunning. The store's exteriors feature a custom-made curved glass façade, inspired by the 'folds of a scarf', while the swanky interiors were done by Louis Vuitton Mattelier's architecture team. Commenting on the store's opening, Jean-Baptiste Debains, president, Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific said, "This new store and the investment it represents reflect Louis Vuitton's confidence in this market, and the appreciation by the local customer of the quality and craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton's product range." Louis Vuitton has said it is in discussions to open a store at one of the two upcoming integrated resorts in Singapore scheduled to open next year. This was revealed at a preview of its latest global store, which will open at ION Orchard on Friday. Tanjong Piai [29 Jun 2009|02:01pm] Tanjong Piai - Johor The sign said it all, fellow Singaporean / Malaysian you must at least come here once, for this is literally at our doorstep and a very unique place. Alot of efforts had been put in place by the Malaysian Government to ensure the place is well preserved under the Ramsar Convention agreement. It is a Marine protected place in Malaysia. So I do not know why nobody encourage anybody to visit this place. It is totally amazing, teeming with wildlife, mangrove and marine lifes. ( nature walk ) PLWH888 7

Sat - woke up late and head for VivoCity - did Subway Lunch with the gang - Check into Siloso Beach Hotel - ate sushi - Off to Koufu for spot of coffee and snacks - to Southern Most Point of Asia Continent (debatable) - Back to hotel for swimming ! - Sunset drinks at rooftop - Dinner at Sakae Iza-something for Lobster dinner - drinks at the room - no internet, nothing, slept early Sun - Breakfast at Beach Cafe - LRT back to VivoCity - Coffee at HarborFront - Pickup by Dom and Gary - Met the gang at Raffles Marina - Off to Johor, Malaysia - Lunch at Pontian Kechil - Taman Negara (Johor) at Tanjong Piai - Southern Most Tip of Mainland Asia (the real one ???) - Pulau Kukup National Park and Suspension Bridge - Seafood Dinner at Kukup - Back to Singapore I've tons of photos, will post them next time.
